Michael O'Brien

At The Ridge, we offer a completely different experience. At the beginning of the process, you’ll meet by appointment with Michael O’Brien to walk homesites, discuss budgets, and to understand what your family is looking for in your dream home. With over 20 years assisting clients from Daniel Island to Lake Norman, Michael has been immersed in the marketing of luxury custom homes. Originally from NYC, where Michael worked on Madison Avenue in advertising, he has an eye for design and a passion for his customers. After relocating to York County, Michael spent the following 23 years as a President and Corporate Vice President in the homebuilding industry. He is focused on the details, follow up, and customer service for his clients. Next you will meet our exclusive custom home builders to determine the best fit for your family. They will spend time with you explaining their processes and reviewing their extensive collection of home plans they have in their libraries. When it comes time for selections, you’ll be closely paired with a professional decorator who has designed custom homes of this caliber and will assist you through the selection process. Want Tiffany light fixtures in the dining room? They can do that. Want a country kitchen with all the most modern appliances? Not a problem. Your options are only limited to your own imagination. At The Ridge the goal is for you to walk into your home that will be 100% designed for you and by you.
